2013 | December Favourites

This is my last beauty favourites of 2013. This has been such a quick year, I can't believe it, I hope you enjoy this as I will have an overall favourites very soon for you.

Allura - Reindeer Nail Stickers - I love these they are just so cute and very festive, I have currently got quite a bit of an obsession with nail stickers at the moment. I just think these were so cute. Also they were only a £1 from poundland so I couldn't turn them down,

2True - 3 in 1 Concealer - This has been one of my newest buys. I like this concealer and I have been wearing this quite a bit and been swapping with different concealers. I really like this and this is the perfect colour for me.

Makeup Brush - This is a funky friends brush (yes I realise I am 19 years old) this was a brush I found. I love this brush as it is perfect for my blusher.

Garnier Moisture Match -  Start A Fresh - This is one of my new moisturisers that I am using, as it is moisture match this matches the type of skin you have. I really like this because I think its good on my skin and I have had a real outbreak of little spots all over my face which isn't exactly perfect.

1001 little beauty miracles | Lighten Up With Lemon

This is actually about a hair mask and this is something I have never used and not going to lie I probably wont ever do that. But I thought I would do something different.

487 - LIGHTEN UP WITH LEMON
Lemon juice and vinegar are both excellent for oily hair. They will also give lustre to blonde hair and bring out highlights. Never pour vinegar or lemon juice directly onto your hair, dilute them first with water and distribute evenly.

This is really odd I have never seen something about this before. I am sure that I will never do this again. But it seems that people will be doing it.

TOP 5 |

I have decided I will be doing something that includes my top 5 products. This has inspired me by one of my favourite bloggers - Shona - Freshbeautyxo. She has been collabing (if that's how you spell it!).

So after the new year I will be doing my top 5 of:
- Nail Polish (e.g. colours and brands, as well as many more!)
- Lipglosses/balms
- Brushes
- Eyeshadows/palettes

This is quite a lot for me to post but you know what I love seeing what you love. But some of these products may not even feature in my favourites. But I am sure you will enjoy at the start of the New Year.

NOTD | Bronze

I have got another NOTD for you, this is one of my favourite posts to see just because I love seeing what people have on there nails. Yes that's pretty odd, but who doesn't love it.

This is what I have on my nails - Maybelline Colour Show - Brick shimmer. I love this on my nails and it is so gorgeous. It has only just started chipping. I will probably take this off soon. Maybelline have got some gorgeous colours in their range which are only cheap that's probably why I love it so much.

2013 | November Favourites

Here are my November favourites, yes it's almost Christmas and I am just posting this. I need to keep a record of the products that I use as it is getting to the point I can never ever remember what products I use. So I only have a few products.

 Natural Collection - Rosey Glow - Blush - £1.79
This is my favourite blush at the moment, I love this. The colour of this is so gorgeous and such a natural colour that I would wear. I will do a review of this soon as it is one of my favourite blushes.

 Johnson's Cotton Buds - 65p
This is what I have been using to take of my nail polish and obviously clean my ears (yuck and gross! I do apologise). I really do like them, Yeah I might probably stop talking about cotton buds now.
Collection - 60 Seconds - Fruit Salad - £1.99
This polish has been my favourite this month just for the fact it lasted so long on my nails. This is such a beautiful colour and it is really creamy on your nails.

1001 little beauty miracles | Get Stuck With Lotion

Here is my 1001 little beauty miracles, I have been sorting out the page where all of these have been  put up there. I am sorry that this has been quite late, I feel there would be much an easier if the links on the page didn't take so long. I am sure that there is an easier way.

770 - GET STUCK WITH LOTION
To give yourself an extra watery boost and lock in extra moisture, slather on moisturizing creams directly after a bath or shower while your skin is still damp. Body creams and lotions that contain gentle chemical exfoliators, including glycolic acid and salicylic acid can help even out skin tone, while 'contouring' or 'lifting' creams will improve skin texture.

I have to admit most of that text has gone over my head because I just thought I lotion does the same thing as any other. Well obviously not. I am pretty bad with most things but moisturising is something that I will probably start to do again.

NOTD | Bronze & Gold

Here is another NOTD, I am getting into the swing of things with my NOTD. I really like doing these as I love looking at other peoples as well. Also this is pretty late this one because I have changed my nail polish already. But I am sure you won't mind.

The two nail polishes I have used are an unbranded gold and Maybelline colour show brick shimmer. I though this was a pretty good nail look. Until the gold nail polish just chipped off the whole time. It was pretty annoying as even if you just knocked it. It would flake off. I love the Maybelline colours shows also, seeing as they have got such a good colour range. I would get so many more colours.

Wishlist #56

Here is another wishlist for you guys. These posts seem to be coming round quicker and quicker each week. Where is this year going? It is almost Christmas. It's all going way to fast for my liking.

Products Mentioned:
1. Essie - Nail Polish - Lovie Dovie - £7.99
2. Sleek - Eyeshadow Palette - Sunset - £7.99
3. Soap and Glory - The Righteous Butter - £10.50

Why I want these products?
1. Essie - Nail Polish - Lovie Dovie - This nail polish is such a gorgeous colour. I probably don't need any more pink nail polishes. But I really don't care because you can't have enough of pink nail polishes in your collection do you. Well that is what I say.

2. Sleek - Eyeshadow Palette - Sunset - This is a gorgeous palette, I love the colour of it. I think this is such a autumn colour. This is so amazing, the only problem is I probably wouldn't use the blue colour or the yellow but that of course if personal preferences.

3. Soap and Glory - The Righteous Butter - This is probably one of the most talked about body butters on here. This is something I really want to go and get even though the price is pretty terrible for just a body butter.

TAG | The Christmas Tag

Seeing as Christmas is coming soon I thought I would do the Christmas tag that was going around. So here we go this is the Christmas tag!
Enjoy.

1.  Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic?
I have only ever had a synthetic Christmas tree, so to be honest I know no different in Christmas trees. I like synthetic Christmas trees seeing as I have a cat, I'm pretty sure he would eat it.

2.  You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick?
Ermmmm, I don't like this question just based on the fact that I hate coffee. So I never go into Starbucks or Costa Coffee. So that isn't a good question to ask. I like tea that is as far as hot drinks are going.

3.  Whats your favourite colour scheme for decorating the tree?
Well I have got quite a cute Christmas tree. It has got multi-coloured lights on which are currently twinkling away right now. I have lots of little decorations on them, for example - blue and gold baubles. As well as silver beads and some Tottenham Hotspur baubles. So I don't really have a colour scheme, it is just pretty miss-match, but I like it that way.

4.  Giving or receiving?
Well I love opening presents of course who doesn't love getting presents. But I do like giving presents to other people. This year especially I cant wait, just for the reason as I have bought both my mum and dad presents with my money as this is my first year working. I thought I would treat them.

5.  To mince pie or not to?
No mince pie for me thanks. That sounds absolutely vile. I don't think I would like to eat one of those.

6.  What's your traditional Sunday lunch?
I am the most fussiest person ever when it comes to eating. Every year since I can remember Christmas and Boxing days have always changed. I always go to different places and only about a year ago I had my first Christmas at home. I have roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings are my favourite.

7.  Christmas day fashion
I usually have a new jumper or jeans or something. I really like having something new to dress in.

8.  What's your favourite Christmas song?
I like all Christmas songs, but sometimes they can get really annoying when playing it over and over again. But I don't particular have a favourite I would say.

9.  What's your favourite Christmas film?
My favourite Christmas film HAS got to be ELF. One of the best films. I could watch that all the time even if it wasn't even Christmas. Its one of those films you know certain lines to because it is so funny. "I KNOW SANTAAA" One of the funniest lines.

10.  Open presents before or after lunch?
Open presents before from my parents that is. We always do it as soon as we wake up.

1001 little beauty miracles | Buy The Best

Here is one of my 1001 little beauty miracles, I hope you enjoy this. This one is probably something that I need to understand and do because I am pretty bad when it comes to buying shampoos.

500 - BUY THE BEST
Cheap shampoos are harsh detergents that are not formulated for the specific needs of your hair. They may contain drying alcohols or resins. Choose the best brand you can afford and buy for your needs - coloured, dry, fine, strengthening, and so on. These have ingredients such as antioxidants, vitamins, sun filters and penetrating straighteners and moisturisers.

I think this is something that I need to do as my shampoo probably doesn't do a lot for me. But I am sure I will deal with this soon because it doesn't really do a lot for me.

Review | ELF Single Eyeshadow - Saddle

Here is another review for you. I have to admit on this blog I am terrible at reviewing products, but here you go this is my ELF single eyeshadow in the shade Saddle.

This is the shade I have been using for the past few months. I have an obsession with single eyeshadows. I think ELF have a very good range of eyeshadows as they have a lot of different colours. They have classic range, mineral and studio shadows.

As you can see you get a lot of product from this range. This is a beautiful brown/ auburn colour. Its a great all-over the lid colour which I use for. But a crease colour to blend it out with is perfect too.

This is what it looks like on my lids just normally. I have no idea what is up with the left eye, I think that's where I took this picture pretty late and it just got mascara all over the lid. As you can see this is a perfect all over lid colour.

I will use this product a lot and I am pretty sure you will see this a lot more used on my blog. As this is one of my favourites at the moment. ELF has some pretty amazing eyeshadows.
I hope you enjoyed this review today and hopefully many more to come!

NOTD | Peach Glitter

Here is my NOTD for you all. I have to admit this is probably my favourite nail look. I love this. I hope you enjoy this one.

As you can see in the picture below, this is the nail varnishes I have used - Technic - Carnival and Collection in Fruit Salad. I love both of these nail polishes. They are so amazing. I have used Technic nail polishes before but this glitter one is very much talked about on here as it as a dupe of a OPI one if I am not mistaken. I have never tried a Collection one before this one and I am going to need more in my collection as I love it. It is so creamy and value of the money.

Review | MUA Undereye Concealer

Here is a review for you, I cant remember the last time I did a review for you. I keep meaning to review so many products. But I can't ever remember.

This is the MUA Undress Your Skin - Radiant Undereye Concealer.
I love this, I have seen a lot of comments about this and they have been slightly mixed reviews. But I am one of those people who doesn't follow the crowd with make-up products. I love this product, it has got a quite of glitter in, but that isn't noticeable when you blend it in with your finger or your brush.

I wouldn't ever use it anywhere else but you can use it as a highlight. I think this would be perfect as a glitter highlight as it makes your skin quite glittery. I really love this product though and I can understand why it gets mixed reviews because it is one of those products that's hit and miss for certain people. BUT of course I love this.

Price: £3.00
Where Can You Buy It?: Superdrug and here on MUA'S website (buy here)
Will I Repurchase It?: YESS! Of course I will it is running out a little bit.

Hope you enjoyed this review! See you soon with another review.

1001 little beauty mircales | Test What Looks Best

Here is another of my beauty miracles, this is possibly the biggest one I have done.

9O4 - TEST WHAT LOOKS BEST
Always try at least one test-run of what you'd like to look like on your big day - with full dress, hair and make-up. Do it a few weeks before the big event and time yourself so that you know to leave enough-time on the day itself. For makeup, think about what time of day you want to make your best impression, and don't be afraid to change your look if the occasion runs from day into evening, adding some darker colours or sparkle if you are going to be dancing later on.

This would be really good if you are planning on going to a wedding or even a christening. This would be perfect to test out because of cause you want to look perfect.

Wishlist #54

Here is another wishlist for you, my favourite time too be doing this. I do enjoy seeing lots of other products.

Products Mentioned:
1. Rimmel - Nail Polish - Man Overboard - £3.69
2. Ice Cream Nail Polish - Ebay - (link here) - Varies Prices
3. Baby Lips - Pink Punch - £2.99
4. MAC - Paint Pot - Vintage Selection - £15.00

Why I want these products?
1. Rimmel - Nail Polish - Man Overboard - This polish is such a gorgeous grey colour, I have to admit when it comes to nail polish I do like the simple colours as well as the bright ones. It is so pretty and I can tell that if I put a matte polish I will really like it.

2. Ice Cream Nail Polish - This is pretty weird one, I saw a blog post about these from one of my favourite bloggers, if I could remember who. But yeah I suppose it as a kind of novelty item, but they are pretty colours.

3. Baby Lips - Pink Punch - Here is another baby lips, I think they are great, I really like the colour because you can never have enough pink lip balms. Yes I always tell that to myself if I plan on buying something. I do like baby lips.

4. MAC - Paint Pot - Vintage Selection - I have always wanted to try a MAC paint pot because they look really good. I just feel they are so expensive for what will be used potentially as a eye shadow base. This looks like a pretty all over base colour as well.

1001 little beauty miracles | Volumize While Wet

By the title of this post may seem a little bit rude. It's only about your hair honestly. I have to admit I am the laziest person with my hair. I just cant be bothered.

523 - VOLUMIZE WHILE WET
The most effective way to use volumizing mousse is to apply it to damp hair and then blow it dry - this will help boost body, especially if you concentrate on lifting at the roots. Use a volumizing shampoo and conditioner and a short style with lots of layers will help lift flat, lank hair.

This is something I probably need to do because my hair just lacks everything when it needs washing. So that might need to happen just a bit. If anyone has any recommendations of hair mousse that would be fantastic.

2013 | October Favourites

Here are my October favourites, they are very late. I know that I need to post them but I just keep forgetting. Hopefully you will enjoy them. Also I have hardly any favourites, as I haven't been loving that much this month.

Natural Collection - Pressed Powder - Neutral - £1.99
I love this, its perfect for my skin colour. I will do a review on this soon. I have been using instead of my Miss Sporty pressed powder. I think this powder is perfect just for the price and the amount of product you get.

Collection 2000 - Light Translucent - Cover up stick - £1.99
I love this, I know most people like the one with the doufer applicator. But I already have about three on the go. So this is the perfect colour for me even though you cant see by this picture. I find this very creamy to use and is perfect to cover my red skin.

ELF - Defining Eye Brush - £1.50
This is my current eye brush, I will also be planning to review this and get a new one. As you never know how many brushes you are going to need in your life. I feel this is really good especially for just all over the lid.

Baby Lips - Intense Care - £2.99
I love this, I think this is just like the Nivea lip balm. I thought at first they were a bit overrated but now I realise why I love this. I haven't even reviewed this, will do very soon.

NOTD | Metallic Metal

This is a bit late for this one because I have actually taken this polish off already. But this is such an amazing colour, I do like to use a grey toned metal colour. This is really good, the only problem with this polish is that it quite sheer. You have to put lots of coats on. But I think this polish is really good if you do nail designs. I have to admit haven't mastered that yet once I get my nail tools I will be doing that.

Need Help With Makeup Storage?

Well I need help with my makeup storage, okay my bedroom is so messy. I have literally no where to put my makeup. This is getting to the point of sheer frustration. I am literally so annoyed how I cant look at my makeup (come on, we all admit we do it).

I have so much mess all over my floor and this is what is annoying me is because I have now got so many broken things. But luckily I have some ideas that I can do with my make-up storage. I needed to get that out haha! I do apologise for my little moan.

1001 little beauty miracles | Blend It Well

I would like to apologise how behind I am getting my posts, I am sorry. I have been pretty busy with work and stuff and I just haven't got the time to do it. But this is going to be ahead now.

423 - BLEND IT WELL
Everyone needs a blending brush - this should be different from the one you use to apply your eye shadow, which gets covered in the product. Blending brushes should be soft and clean, and used to give make-up a more natural look.

This is something I need to get, I am pretty bad when it comes to make-up brushes because I have hardly any. They are either all really cheap brushes, I have only ever bought three brushes before. But I have got my eye on the ELF blending brush because I have read some good stuff about it.

Wishlist #53

Here is another wishlist for you all, I am sure you will enjoy this one and I hope you don't my absence. I have been really struggling and have hardly anything to post sorry guys. Its only a short one too sorry about that.

Products Mentioned:
1. Collection 2000 Lipstick - Pretty Please - £2.99
2. ELF Facial Whip - Toasted - £1.50
3. Fashionista Eyeshadow - Dubai - £4.00

Why I want these products?
1. Collection 2000 Lipstick - Pretty Please - This is a gorgeous lipstick, I do have a lipstick problem right now. But this is such a frosty pink, if that is what it is. I really like this colour and collection lipsticks are really cheap too.

2. ELF Facial Whip - Toasted - Now this product, I am pretty sure this isn't even on ELF website at the moment. But I have seen it on there before ages ago. But I actually don't know what you would use this for anyway. Its quite cool really.

3. Fashionista Eyeshadow - Dubai - Now this is what you call a gorgeous eyeshadow, I love the fashionista eyeshadows because they are so gorgeous. This is like a few colours mixed into more. This is something I would like to go and get. I mean how many single eyeshadows can I a girl have.

Review | Amelie Flutter Eyeshadow Palette

Here is a review on my Amelie Flutter eyeshadow palette. I got this last year I think for Christmas and I love this palette. It is called the Natural Eye palette. So keep reading about this palette, sadly you cant get this palette anymore as it was from Superdrug and obviously they change every year.

Here are the shades, there are 5 colours. From left to right - white, green, brown, purple/brown, black. This is such a good palette, as you can tell I have used the middle colour a lot more. It is a really good colour. If you look at the next picture I have swatched them for you.
As you can see this is a really pigmented palette. As you can tell they are all very wearable for your natural eye. This palette is one that I always go to because it is easy if I wish to have eyeshadow in my crease. As the green would be perfect. I am really enjoying this palette it is hard not to put it in my favourites every month. But I haven't. I love every colour in this palette.
