NOTD - orange bombshell

I love these posts because I am always painting my nails and rummaging through my ever expanding nail polish collection. I have set myself a little challenge that I will use different nail polishes for a whole year. So far it is going well I may add. Right I'll stop my rambling. This is the nail varnish .

I have used a Claire's accessories nail varnishes. I remember it was on offer so I thought why not give it ago. I must add I love this nail varnish. I put this on over a week ago and it has only chipped a little bit where I got it caught on something. I am defiantly picking up more especially some greens because I have a problem with green nail polishes at the moment.

This picture doesn't really show the justice of this polish but you have to put about 2 coats on because it can be quite opaque if you don't.

Collective Haul | Clothes

A very late collective clothes haul for you, I am sorry that this has been hiding in my drafts for around 4 weeks. Why I want these products?

1. Models Own - Mermaid Tears - This nail varnish looks beautiful just because it looks different to what I would usually buy. This would look great on one nail colour. Also I love Models Own.

 

2. Models Own nail art pen - Black - I have never used a nail art pen before but after seeing so many pictures of people's nail art it has made me want it so much.

 

3. Rimmel London - Tangy Tangerine - At the moment I have been loving orange nail varnishes and I have a few rimmel nail varnishes already but I want some more and this would so good with a tan.

 

4. Sally Hansen cuticle remover gel - I have bad cuticles at the moment and I think it is best that I could get this gel because it would really help with them annoying pesky cuticles.

 

5. BarryM lipgloss bubblegum - You can never have enough nail varnishes really can you because well I clearly just want more. But BarryM have got some good lip products that I have looked at in the shops. They are very pigmented.

It's 1001 little beauty miracles for you all again, I hope you are having some beautiful weather. But I feel its been a little bit too hot.

 

672 - GO ROUND IN CIRLCES

Always apply your moisturiser or body scrub in a circular motion from the ankle up as this boosts the circulation of the blood in the legs, facilitating lymphatic drainage and boosting circulation and, therefore, skin health.

 

I do love a body scrub and I am currently using this which was a Christmas item and this is so gorgeous. It smells so lovely, I just can't work out what it smells like really. I was quite worried about this tip because I don't want you too have bad legs. If you remember this you know where to thank me. (Only kidding - But I help this helps you!)

Review | Natural Collection Mascara

Today's post is a review of one of my favourite mascaras. I hope you enjoy my reviews because I am pretty slow at reviewing products as it takes me forever.

I am using the Natural Collection Mascara in lash length black - this has been a big favourite of mine. Yes the packaging could be much better, I'm one of those people who doesn't care what the packaging is like as long as the product is good. Here is a picture of the packaging for you also I thought I would take some of this beautiful weather to take pictures outside.

The packaging can get very dirty at times as you can see in the next picture. It just picks up dried concealer (gross I know!) It is a plastic wand, I really don't mind it because it is what I am used to. Natural Collection is a brand that I don't see many people talk about, but I love budget brands and this is my second purchase of the lash length mascara. I feel this is a very 'natural' mascara because it makes my lashes look so much longer than what they usually do with no mascara. I will repurchase this again as this is my second purchase. But I will try different mascaras then and there. This is what my lashes look like with the mascara on, I am sorry you can't see it so well but I like this mascara a lot.

Why I want these products?

1. Bourjois so lauqe nail polish - Tangerine Fatal - As you know I just love nail varnishes and I have never tried a Bourjouis polish before but this caught my eye it looks so nice and summery.

 

2. Bourjois cream blush 03 - Rose Tender - After seeing loads of blog posts about these blushes. I think this colour is beautiful, I love the colour roses because the colours are beautiful. I want to try a cream blush because I feel they are better for dry skin.

 

3. Bourjois so laque nail polish - Beige Glamour - I do luke the look of this nail varnish because I am starting my job soon I don't want to have a bright colour on my nails.

 

4. Topshop nail varnish - Art School - I think the only reason I want this is because I love the name. It is a nice orange colour, I love Topshop nail varnishes because they are so creamy if you can get creamy nail varnishes.

 

5. Topshop nail varnish - Rad - This is a beautiful colour, I have started wearing different colours on my nails because I want to have green, this is like a bogey green.

 

6. Topshop cream blusher - Afternoon Tea - I think this is a little bit of a scary blusher because it is so pink. This does look good though, need to get my hands on this though.

NOTD - Grapes

I love this colour, this is something really different. I was just flicking through the AVON book and this nail varnish jumped out at me. (not literally but you know what I mean ha-ha).

This is Grape Goddess from AVON nail wear pro+, they have a huge range of polishes in their book and on their website. I feel AVON is one of those brands that not a lot of people look at but I love it. This nail varnish is a favourite already and looking forward to pick up a few more colours. 

1001 little beauty miracles | Go gold for highlights

Here is another tip for you, I do love this one because it was something I had never thought about. But I am trying to use this tip a lot more in my makeup bag.

304 | Go gold for highlights

For a glamorous evening look use silver and gold eyeshadows as highlights for the brow bone. Stick to the area under the brow and don't take the highlighter out too far towards your temple, which can appear too obvious.

 

 

This is the current highlight that I am using which is a single eyeshadow from MUA that is shade1 that is a £1. It is so amazing because it is quite a creamy shadow. I will review this separately because I have already reviewed all my MUA shades together.

2013 | June favourites

Another favourites, these are coming around quickly but I always seem to get later. I am sorry I keep forgetting about my favourites. But they will be on time from now on. I have quite a few products that I have been loving this month. So lets check them out.

MUA intense kisses - lips are sealed - This has been my go to lip product this month, it is so creamy. I can't really explain what kind of product this is because it isn't a lipstick or a gloss. I will review this for you all soon because I love this and will grab some more to use.

 

MUA eyeshadow shade 17 - This has been the base for my eyeshadow, I love it. Its just a basic brown colour that I would probably use all over my lids anyway but it does the job as a nice eyeshadow base.

 

Simple cleansing facial wipes - I am very lazy when it comes to taking my make-up off. I know it is bad but I can never be bothered, these have come in really handy to just wipe over my face. It is so refreshing as well seeing as it has been just too hot.

ELF lipstick - charming - I love this lipstick, it is a coral pink but because I am rather pale I feel that it isn't too bright for my face. I won't talk too much about this lipstick because I am planning a lipstick post which will be up soon for you to read about the lipsticks I own.

NYC nail varnish - Grey Haze - This is my first try of a NYC nail varnish and I am very pleased and will be trying more. I have already done a post about this already which you can read here.

Simple Facial toner - I love this, its so cooling and refreshing to use on your face because it is getting hotter. I currently am using two of these bottles and am really enjoying them.

Why I want these products?
1. BarryM Gelly Hi-Shine - Greenberry - I love the gelly hi shone nail polishes from BarryM and this is a colour that I haven't ever had before. It is such a beautiful green colour because it is different and as they are gelly this will look really good.

2. Revlon lip butter - Berry Smoothie - I really want to try a lip butter as I have seen so many reviews and swatches of them. This just looks fantastic and it is a really nice neutral lip colour.

3. ELF mint cream nail polish - This nail varnish is so good because I love mint colours at the moment. I was reading a post from MidnightViolet - she was comparing all her mint nail varnishes. Its quite a dark mint but not to dark. This is why I need this and I love ELF nail varnishes.

4. Maybeline colour show nails polka dot rain forest canopy - This is something I have never seen and my mum randomly showed me in her magazine. It is so weird I just want to know what the texture is of the nail polish.

NOTD: Multicoloured

I only ever use single nail polishes but when I was searching in my boxes just because I keep lots of boxes full of make-up and this appeared. I remember getting this ages ago but I forget to use it. At the moment I want to use lots of different nail polishes this year. I might do a blog post at the end of the year about all the polishes that I have used.

 

It is a double polish called punky polish and the colours are so nice. It is a bright pink with a green polish. This is such a good colour to have.

I think this is quite a different look because I just have all my fingers painted the same colour.

1001 little beauty miracles | Give yourself a smile

Another little tip for you guys, this is one probably every single person knows about as we all do it when we apply our blushes or bronzers. I really enjoy posting these tips because they are just so good because I love reading my book full of tips.

 

227 - GIVE YOURSELF A SMILE

To make blusher pay, smile into the mirror to find the apples of your cheeks, then brush the colour there in wide, sweeping movements for a natural, cheeky glow.

 

This is the blush I am currently using, I thought I might take the picture outside because it is sunny now. I use the ELF blush in Shy - I am starting to review this very soon for you all. This blush is a nice pale pink which I can just sweep over my cheeks.

NOTD: Lychee

Another nail of the day for you all, this is quite a basic nail because I had an interview recently and I thought I would wear a basic nail colour because I didn't want like a bright pink. That would be quite odd.

This is BarryM Gelly hi shine in Lychee - I love this I saw there were so many blog posts and tweets about this. This was one of those nail varnishes I thought was going to be hyped up but oh man was i wrong about this I love this and I am so glad I got this. It is the perfect interview polish because it's just simple and at £4 it is just a bargain!

1. MAC lipstick - Creme De La Femme - I need a MAC lipstick in my life even if I just have one I will be happy. I just feel everybody talks about these and I should get one, but I can't justify £15 for a lipstick. Hmm well never mind the price the colour is just gorgeous. Something I always wear.

2. Topshop lipstick - Innocent - I have seen so many reviews about there lipsticks and they just look so creamy, this colour is such a cute baby pink colour. I have to admit I have quite a small lipstick collection compared to some people's I have seen.

3. Boots 200 Clear false nails - I saw brogantatexo talk about these in like her old videos! I have to admit I have never tried false nails because I know they wouldn't go to well with me but I thought seeing as this summer I haven't got anything to do I might get some. I do have some at the moment that I might try look out for them.

I have another little beauty miracle for you - I am very sorry that this is a bit behind because for some reason I had this all saved and but then it didn't even come up on my drafts.  

 

369 - ONE COAT AT A TIME

Apply one coat of mascara carefully and wait for it to dry before considering a second one. You may only need one application, this way, you'll avoid clogging.

This tip is very good because I speak for myself and probably many people. I am the worst at mascara, only one of my lashes seem to clog up and get stuck together which really gets on my nerves, but now I will remember that I can have better lashes.
