2014 | December Favourites

Its officially the last day of 2014! I can't believe it, this year has gone so quicjk I cant believe it! So I thought seeing as it is new years eve im not doing anything so that is why I am writing this blog post which is my December favourites!

Here are my some of my favourite things in December.

 

W7 - Hot Chocolate Eye shadow - This eye shadow is such a beautiful shade, I love this shade. I can't believe how cheap this shadow was it was very cheap. It is like a glittery colour and I will do a look with this soon.

 

Garnier - Moisture Match - Normal To Dry Skin - My skin has been awful this last month because I feel that it has been cold. So this has kind of made my skin a little better than usual. I hate this time of year because my skin looks gross. So I am glad that I got this I have enjoyed it.

 

Collection - No Clumps Mascara - I love this mascara it has been defiantly one of my favourites. It makes your lashes look so long and it is very good. I feel collection is on of those brands that people forget about sadly.

 

Natural Collection - Milk Chocolate - There is something about this eye shadow that I just love it. This is the perfect all over eye shadow shade and it makes your eyes really stand out. I really needed one of these shade but I am glad that I didn't need to buy it as I found it in my collection.

Boxing Day Sales | 2014

Seeing as Christmas is over and the sales happen. This is what I bought in boots. Also I felt that there wasn't many good sales going on. But anyway I am pleased with my purchase.

 

I got six nail polishes for £6! This is such a good polish, I just love it champneys nail polish and they are incredible. I feel that £12 for these nail polish are really good but getting them for 6 pound is such a bargain. I will do a review on these nail polishes using a nail wheel probably very soon. I can't wait to use the blue nail polish it looks amazing.

NOTD | Christmas

Its NOTD time again, this will probably be the last one before the next year. So this is going to be a long post because I have decided to do something different than the reindeer one I had only a week ago.

This is my left hand, I decided that I would do a cute little ELF costume which is really adorable. I cant remember where I saw this but its a really cool nail look. Then I haver the penguin which I love because I just love penguins as they are so cute and the John Lewis advert was the best with the penguin.

This is the right hand which is a cute little snowman's scarf which I have seen quite a lot of people do and I thought that's what I would do on my other hand as I felt this was the easiest thing to do.

 

As you can see I had to use a lot of nail polishes to create this look so I have decided i'll just show you what the polishes are for a change. I will just list them down.

Why I Want These Products?

1. Models Own - Nail Polish - Banger - This was from there firework collection, so this is a banger! see what I did there, yeah awful sorry. This is such a beautiful blue glitter and I really love it. I just love models own nail polish and if I could collect every polish that they have made I would.

 

2. Models Own - Nail Polish - Obsidian - I am pretty sure that this brand of polishes was discontinued which makes me sad because I only have one and I want more. I am pretty sure that you can buy this somewhere like boots or superdrug.

 

3. Maybelline - Eye shadow - Iced Fudge - This looks such a gorgeous colour, I cant even explain how beautiful this colour is. I don't think that this is sold anywhere anymore. But its really pretty.

 

4. Maybelline - Colour Tattoo - Immortal Charcoal -  I am not really sure about this and why I put it on the wishlist because I am not really keen on dark black eyeshdaow's. But I really think this would be great on having as a smoky eye.

 

5. BarryM - Foundation - I like trying different products and I think that it looks cool and there are a lot of different colour/shades. But I am not too sure would be my perfect shade.

 

6. Models Own - Nail Polish - Roman Candle - This is such a gorgeous pink glitter and again this is from the firework collection. I just really love glitter as I am sure you would all understand how much I need it. I love this and I need this.

Ciate Advent Calender | 2014

I always get chocolate advent calendars every single year. But I was suddenly surprised when I was given this by my parents.

This is the 2014 version and it is called the Ciate mini manor, on the back of the calendar you have all of the products that you get on there. But I haven't looked because I am waiting for that surprise every morning. All I know is there is one day that you get stickers or accessories. This is such an amazing gift if you don't like chocolate or if you want a little change.

This is such an amazing gift and I just love it and I have to admit I get very excited when I open it every morning. Just because I love nail polish and they are amazing. I love it and maybe in the new year I will be posting pictures of the polishes or you can look at the pictures on my nail polish blog.

Nail Art | Christmas Nails

Seeing as Christmas is only 11 days away I have decided that I will show you my Christmas nail art and this is the best nail wheel that I have created.

This was one of my favourite nail wheels to do, I really loved doing it because it really made me feel as if Christmas was coming soon. So I am going to show you what designs I have used for this Christmas.

Why I Want These Pictures?

1. Rimmel - Nail Polish - Mary Mary Quite Contrary - This nail polish is beautiful, it is just so cute and the name of the polish is possibly the main reason why I want this. The names always appeal to me sometimes more than the polish. I just love it and its a beautiful grey shade and its lovely.

 

2. Rimmel - Glam Eyes - Mono Shadow - Spicy Bronze - This is one of the colours that I would wear every day if I only ever had to wear one shadow again. I just love this eye shadow because it is just so beautiful. I feel that it is beautiful and I just want to have this shadow now.

 

3. Rimmel - Nail Polish - Ring A Ring O' Roses - This is the perfect pink nail polish. I just love this shade. The name of this is beautiful and I just love this one. It is beautiful and I just cant get over how pretty it is.

NOTD | Christmas

Seeing as Christmas is upon us, I have decided that this month I will have Christmas nails. So I decided that I would have Christmas nails.

I have been doing my Christmas nail wheels recently, I haven't posted them just yet so keep your eyes out for that. I have used BarryM Mushroom on every finger apart from the reindeer which I used a circle top brown nail polish. I only call it circle top because it has a circle top really ha-ha. Then for the red nose I used the nail polish from OPIA Primark  line, the black was a 2true shade 39, the white was the LA Colours in French white. I might do another Christmas nail real soon seeing as we have 17 days until Christmas day!

 

2014 | November Favourites

Here is my November favourites, I am slightly late with this but I may as well not change a habit because I just like being late with these posts. I have actually been loving quite a bit more than usual.

 

MUA - Undress Me Too Palette - I have been loving this palette recently, I have also just done a review on this so if you would like to read it here. I have only been using two shades in it to be honest which is the first one and then the fourth one. I will do a post maybe in the new year the look that I have been loving.

 

ELF - Blending Eye Brush - I have been loving this to use it in the crease and it blends so well. The only problem I have with this is that it sheds a little bit sadly. But I am planning a big post with the ELF brushes that I already have so I cant wait for you too see it.

 

W7 - Lashtastic Mascara - I have been loving this mascara this month. I feel I have been using a different mascara every month in my favourites. I just love this mascara and its one of my favourites at the moment because it makes my lashes look incredible.

 

Nivea - Primer - I have been using this all month because my skin has had a little bit of a breakout and its making me very itchy sadly. So this has been really helping. Also I will be reviewing this very soon.

 

Natural Collection - Vanilla Body Spray - I just love this smell. I have been obsessed with it all month. It stays on for so long and I feel this smells like white chocolate which is one of my favourite things to eat. I love it so much!

Why I Want These Products?

1. The Body Shop - Vitamin E - Eye Cream - I really need an eye cream because at the moment I am suffering from a cold and my eyes are really sore. I feel that I should get this right now because I am just so sore.

2. MUA - Colour Blast - Bring It Back - I do love an eye pen thing whatever they are supposed to be called. I just need every colour because this is such a pretty brown shade. This looks such a beautiful colour.

3. MUA - Colour Blast - A Girl Like Me - This looks just a gorgeous shade, I really like the look of it because it is one of those shades that I would always wear because it is perfect. I just love easy ways to put on your eyeshadow because it is such a simple way to do it.

4. No7 - Eye Base - I just love putting my eyeshadows on and maybe trying new products. I just love my eyeshadows. So knowing that it stays on is really good for me. But I feel that paying £7 isn't good because I am pretty budget when I buy makeup.

5. Smashbox - Lipstick - Cerise - I don't even know if they even sell this product anymore because I was searching for it on the website and I just couldn't find it anywhere. But it is such a nice colour and I would love to go and get this though.

My Nail Polish Collection

So as its the first of December, I an deciding that I will put up a post for you. I have been searching through my drafts and I found this picture.

I have a very big nail polish collection and I just love nail polish as you can see This is pretty old picture because I am sure I have bought lots of nail polish before that. I just have so many brands in this like Models Own, Nails Inc, BarryM, Maybelline. There are obviously many more brands that I have got in this huge pile. But I will keep a regular update on my nail polish collection as well as having colour nail polish updates. So enjoy this post for a bit!

Nail Art | Animal Nails

As I have been getting into my nail art, I have decided to do my nail art for animals. So I want to show you all about the animals that I have done this week.

Why I Want These Products?

1. ELF - Jumbo Lipstick - Flirty & Girly - This looks beautiful, I just love this lipstick. I already have one of these and its a really pretty shade. Its such a simple packaging and its always easy to find it when you look in your bag.

 

2. No7 - Nail Polish - Oyster - This is such a gorgeous polish, I just love this colour. It is so pretty and I do like No7 nail polishes as they have such a huge range of shades which is always good to use.

 

3. No7 - Moisture Drench Lipstick - Cranberry - This probably is the usual lipstick shade that I would go for because it looks perfect with my skin and its really pretty. I have only tried nail polishes from No7, but the lipsticks look really good.

 

4  No7 - Natural Blush Cream - Maple Silk - This is such a gorgeous shade and this is a cream blush which I am not really used too. But I think that its really good and I like that No7 have such a huge range of items.

 

5. Smashbox - Eyeshadow Palette - Blue Eyes - I don't even think that this is sold anymore sadly, so I probably don't think I can get this. But I have to admit that it looks very pretty. I haven't seen anything from Smashbox so I don't really know what anything is or even looks like.

NOTD | Grey Hearts

Here is my NOTD, before you say this is slightly messy which I am disappointed about but I don't think I really care either.

As the base coat I have used Rimmel - Little Bo Peep which is a gorgeous grey shade. But on the nails it doesn't look like the grey shade but its beautiful. I really like Rimmel polishes because they are just so creamy and have got an amazing colour range. Then for the hearts and I realise that they may be pretty messy and not painted very well. But I did this free hand and with just a piece of paper which I cut out with a heart cutter. I used Essie Angora Cardi which is up there with my favourite colours.

Review | MUA Undress Me Too Palette

I have got a review of one of my favourite palettes at the moment, that will even be put in my favourites this month that's how much I have been loving it. So lets see what I have to say about this palette.

Here is the palette, yes the packaging is pretty simple and it can break. But I'm not one too bothered when it comes to looking at the packaging, I really like that you can see the colours in the palette as well.

Right before I talk about how amazing the colours are. I do apologise for the two colours which have lines straight through them I was listening to my iPad when I was doing my makeup and I dropped it and that's what it was. But anyway other than my silly little mistake, these are so incredible shades as there are a few matte shades and some shimmer shades. I prefer the shimmery shades more than the mattes.

I have swatched the shades on my arm and here they are:

Naked, Devotion, Shy, Fiery, Lavish, Dreamy;

Tranquil, Exposed, Reveal, Wink, Obsessed, Corrupt

 

My favourite shades are fiery and wink because they have got such a beautiful colour for in the crease. I just love most shades because they have got such a beautiful colour to it.

Why I Want These Products?

1. ELF - Studio - Medium Eyebrow Kit - I always feel my eyebrows are disgusting,  but I think having a kit would be perfect because I really need to sort my eyebrows out. But ELF have the perfect colour for me I feel, for some reason my eyebrows are a horrible colour.

 

2. LYNX - Women's Spray -  I love the smell of beautiful lynx sprays. This smells beautiful and I think that this is something I would love to get. Its so pretty smelling as well.

 

3. Look - Statement Eyeshadow - Khaki - This looks beautiful but its very sad that Look beauty isn't sold anywhere now. This makes me annoyed because I really love this colour it is beautiful.

 

4. Batiste - Dry Shampoo - Tropical - I like trying new dry shampoo because my hair gets greasy pretty quickly at the back more than anything. So trying this would be cool and I have heard a lot about batiste shampoos.

 

5. Nail Files - I am always in need for a few nail files because you always need to file those pesky sharp nails. So this is something I think I need to get.

Haul | Eyes

This haul was supposed to be posted ages ago, but sadly I kept forgetting about it. So lets see the three eye products that I have got for you.

So I have two Makeup Revolution eyeshadows in the shades - I Want You and Sold Out. I just love having new eyeshadows. This is one of my favourite brands, I will do a review on these soon and shoe you my collection as I have a few more. Then I have a Models Own eyeliner which I got free when I was in the models own bottle shop which was really amazing. I just love models own but not sure about using eyeliners. Maybe I will give it ago.

TAG | The Me Time TAG

I do love seeing a new tag popping up in my post feed. I just love seeing what people answer is that stupid probably yes. But anyway lets see what my me-time is like.

1. What do you like to watch or read during me-time?I am not really one to read books, I used to love reading. But I am currently reading 'the fault in the stars'. But I also love watching football for hours as well.

2. What do you wear during me-time?
Is it weird I just wear my normal clothes, I am not one to change clothes just because I am not one to get comfy.

3. What are your favourite me-time products?
My favourite me-time products is probably having a can of coke and watching TV as well. I am not one of those people that have to do something during me-time.

4. Current favourite nail polish?My current favourite nail polish is Tanya Burr - Penguin Chic which I currently have on at the moment. I just love this nail polish it is so beautiful shade, its gorgeous and I also love Tanya Burr.

5. What do you drink during me-time?
As I have previously said in a few questions before I like to have my can of coke. I am so fussy as I don't really drink tea only maybe if it was snowing, I feel coffee the smell is vile and hot chocolate isn't one for me.

6. Current favourite candle?
Probably a Yankee candle, I just love the Christmas smells. I only own two of these. Yankee candles are so gorgeous smelling and they have so many scents.

7. Do you ever have outdoor me-time?
Not very often, I don't really go outside very often. So not really.

8. Would you ever go and watch a film alone?
Probably not, the cinema nearest to me is probably about 20 minutes away. I don't really like the thought of watching a film in a cinema on my own.

9. Favourite online shop?
I don't really have any favourite online shops to be honest. I just look at lots of shops online.

10. Anything to add? what else do you do during me- time?
I love painting my nails during me-time as well as deciding what nail art designs I can do on my nail wheel. I find that really relaxing.

1. GOSH - Lip Gloss - Tea Rose - This lip gloss is such a gorgeous shade. I love tea rose lip gloss because I feel that this is the perfect colour for me and my skin tone. I also haven't tried anything from GOSH either so I think I will go and see what it is like.

 

2. GOSH - Nail Polish - Mysterious Mauve - I just love this polish shade, it is the perfect winter nail polish. Its such a gorgeous shade and I need to get this soon. It will be beautiful polish to add to my collection.

 

3. Miners - Lip Gloss - LuXe Lips Collection - Beauty Queen - This is just like a tea rose shade, I really like this one. It is a beautiful shade to wear and Miners have got a few good products that I have got and I really like the look of this lip gloss.

NOTD | Nude Penguin

This is my NOTD, this is the Tanya Burr nail polish in Penguin Chic. I love this nail polish.

I love this nail polish, I have put two coats on the polish. I love Tanya Burr so when I saw that she was bringing out nail polish I knew I was going to buy some because I just love her and of course nail polish. I think I personally bought this because of the name. I just love that she made the names was something I thought was really good. I think I need every colour from this collection. I also really recommend them as they are amazing.

2014 | October Favourites

Its favourites time, I have to admit I'm not as late as usual when I post favourites. So let me see what I have been loving this month. There isn't much this month that I have been loving.

Nail Art Designs - This month I have been really inspired by nail art. Probably because it was Halloween but I just love looking a lots of different instagram posts and pictures. I have been loving it and I will do another post on my animal nails. I love nail art it is so amazing to just search through designs that I can do.

 

Vaseline - Rosy Lips - I haven't been wearing many lip products, but seeing as it is getting colder I have been putting this on because it is such a gorgeous smell and I love using this.

 

ELF - Lip Exfoliator - I have been loving this, it is so good to take all those dead and gross skin of your lips. It has such a weird taste but I just love using this and it is something I will probably repurchase this once I finish it.

1. ELF - HD Blush - Diva - This looks lovely, I am sure we all have a different kind of blush like powder, cream or loose. Now this is incredible, I have never seen anything like this. I think that this might be too bright for me.

 

2. Collection - Milkshake - This polish looks beautiful and yes I sneakily have this as well. Its so creamy and it is a beautiful colour. I just love this colour and I cant wait to wear it again.

 

3. GOSH - Nail Polish - Girls On Film - This is such a gorgeous glitter, I just love glitter nail polishes as I just know they make the nail polish look amazing. I also haven't tried GOSH nail polish before so I need to try some soon.

 

4. GOSH - Nail Polish - High School Flirt - This is a beautiful off white nail polish colour. This is such a gorgeous shade and I love it. You never know when you need an off white nail polish because its always something you need in your collection.

 

5. Body Shop - Body Butter - Brazil Nut - I bet this smells gorgeous. But I am not sure if they even sell this anymore because it just looks amazing. So I may not know how this smells. I feel it was quite expensive for just a body butter.

NOTD | Halloween

Its my NOTD and as it was Halloween yesterday I decided to do some Halloween nails. I have to say I am very impressed with myself if I don't say so myself.

 

This is my Frankenstein, I am not usually one to do anything with my nails for Halloween. But I decided to use a Frankenstein theme. I have used BeautyUK - Urban Jungle, this is such a gorgeous shade. I have used 2True which is in shade 39 and then I just have a French white nail polish, I really love this look and if you would like to have a look at the rest of my Halloween nail wheels then you can see them here.

1. Look - Loud Lips - Petal Nude - This is the weirdest shade but I don't think its sold anymore because Look isn't sold in Superdrug. But I like that colour though sadly I probably wont find it though in the shops.

 

2. ELF - Studio Brush - Angled Contour Brush - I really like the look of this brush, I would love to have this because I am trying to get in contouring or perfecting my blush which would be really good. I bet this brush I really soft as well because ELF brushes are really soft.

 

3. GOSH - CC Cream - Porcelain - This looks really good, I actually have seen so many reviews about this CC cream and it looks amazing. As I am very pale I wouldn't be so sure if it would actually match my skin tone because I am very pale.

 

4. Sally Hansen - Sugar Coat - Sour Apple - This looks so good, I love polishes like this because it always give you that cool look. I just love it and I have got a few Sally Hansen nail polishes as well and they look really good.

Nail Art | Halloween Nails

Seeing as its Halloween tomorrow, so I thought I would show you my Halloween nail wheel. Also this was my first attempt at doing this. So I am really glad at how well they went.

Here are 18 different Halloween nails and I have looked at a lot of pictures on Twitter, Instagram and Google. This is one of my favourites I think. I wont go through them individually because that is going to take too long. But I will just tell you what they are.

 

I have Dracula, no emotion man (I cant think of what that actually was!), spider web, a scary tree with a gradient pink background, a RIP stand, scary eye with veins, small spiders, a ghost, scary googly eyes, scary cat eyes, blood dripping down, even more scary eyes, Jason mask, small little ghosts, fangs, Frankenstein, pumpkin and a black cat.

Review | Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation

I thought I would post a review, I haven't done one for a very long time. So this is the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in the shade 010 light porcelain.

 

This is my only foundation that I actually own.
I love using this, I don't think I will ever finish it though. I think this is the softest foundation I have ever had in my life. There is a pink tone to this which I love because my skin has quite pink tone sometimes. But I really love this foundation and I am glad that I got this. I find picking foundation very difficult because I am so pale. I would like to try other Rimmel foundations.

2. Collection - Lipstick - Satin Bow - This lipstick looks amazing shade as well, it does look a little bit like a strange shade. But I do like the packaging that is pretty sweet. But the shade is pretty odd and probably won't even suit me.

 

3. Rimmel - Lipstick - Oxford Street Fuchsia - I love this colour and the next time I go onto Fragrance Direct I am defiantly going to get this because its a perfect shade I feel for me. It looks lovely and I want to get this soon.

 

4. NYC - Gloss - Bowery Blush - NYC have such an amazing shade of lipsticks and I feel that this would look like the perfect shade. I really like it and I will have a look at the NYC stand next time I think.

NOTD | Green

This is my NOTD for the week. I love this nail polish I think that its beautiful.

I have got NYC - Magic Earth on and I love it. I have two coats on some nails as well as having one coat. This nail polish is beautiful, I love the colour, its a complete different shade to what I would usually have. It looks lovely and I really want the rest of the collection actually.

Haul | Nail Polish

I have got a Models Own nail polish haul for you. I went to the Models Own bottleshop in Brent Cross. This is my ultimate dream to work in a nail polish bottle (yes I really did say that!!). But its amazing and I know a lot about nail polish from Models Own.

 

Emerald Green - This is from the new range of the diamond luxe. This is one of my favourite nail polish from the collection. As this has gold flecks of diamond in which is amazing. I cant wait to wear this.

Microdots - This is one amazing looking polish, the girl who I was with in the shop described this as paper confetti and it looks amazing. So this is one I think for a summers day.

Radiant Pink - This is another one that's from the diamond luxe collection. Its a gorgeous pink, Models Own have the most amazing pink shades and I probably don't need anymore pink polishes. But they are amazing as well.

Swan - I needed this in my collection, I just don't even care that I almost have the whole of the collection. But this is very pretty shade and this can be one accent nail which would be really good because it will stand out.

Peach Melba - So if a brand decides to bring out a scented nail polish I need to have it. This is the nicest smell I have ever ever smelt. I cant even begin to explain what it smells like so make sure you just smell the polish. I think I need all of the scented nail polishes.

Turquoise Gloss - I love my green nail polishes I am sure you all know. I don't think I have even seen this polish before. So I was pretty excited when I saw this in the bottle shop. I love this and I cant wait to use this because it is beautiful shade.
